Born and raised in Georgia, I relocated to San Diego a decade ago. My journey into coding began with crafting Excel Macros using VBA, where I quickly discovered a passion for developing innovative solutions to simplify everyday challenges. Growing up, I never considered myself to be tech savvy, but two years ago I decided that it was time to step outside of my comfort zone by making a career pivot.

I am currently building a fictional university site using WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript. While I have no prior experience with PHP or creating custom templates in WordPress, the project has been an exciting and rewarding learning experience.
